ATTENDANCE

Regular attention to the course study guidelines and calendar is required for completing any ICIS course. Even though instruction is made available through an online format, students are expected to maintain regular contact with their faculty and complete course work on schedule. Attendance for ICIS is defined through the processes of electronic interaction with the faculty, timely submission of assignments, participation in mandatory teleconferences and receipt of and response to ICIS messages via e-mail or posted mail as required.

CHANGE OF STATUS

Students are requested to notify ICIS when a change of status occurs, i.e., change of address, e-mail address, phone number, or any other change that may have an impact upon completion of the student’s education.

POLICY ON ACADEMIC DISHONESTY & PLAGIARISM

All work submitted by a student must represent the student’s original endeavour. Copy-paste jobs (from the materials provided or any other source), extensive use of quotes is not acceptable. Where outside sources are used as references, work submitted by the student should identify the source to make clear the extent to which the source has been used. ICIS considers plagiarism and falsification of documents a serious matter which may result in appropriate sanctions that could involve loss of all or part of credit for the work, suspension for a specific period of time, or even expulsion from the course(s) depending upon the severity of violation.
